To stimulate students' interest in learning English, enrich their campus life, and enhance their language application skills, on the afternoon of October 25, the bilingual department of Indus International School held a unique English short play performance.

 

Raising the national flag and singing the national anthem

 

In the short play performances, students fully utilized their creativity and imagination, creating original short plays based on themes such as campus life, real-life scenarios, and classic stories, showcasing excellent English proficiency and superb acting skills.

 

 

The seventh-grade performance interpreted that home is where love begins, and familial affection never fades. The fifth graders vividly portrayed the message of never judging a person by their appearance. The sixth-grade performance allowed us to witness China's high-speed rail and the speed of China. The eighth-grade battle of wits between the brave knight and the evil witch taught us that wisdom and courage will ultimately triumph over darkness!

 

Seventh Grade "Home"

Performers: Gan Ruoyi, Han Jiani, Zhu Chenguang, Liu Haoxuan, Zhao Chenyang, Luo Mingxun

 

 

Fifth Grade "Our New PE Teacher"

Performers: Zhang Qingyan, Lin Yixuan, Shi Yiying, Wang Haoqin, Kang Muen, Shi Zihao

 

 

Sixth Grade "High-Speed Rail Journey"

Performers: Zhao Yaxin, Zhou Zijiao, Wu Zijing, Wang Wanyi, Zhang Haoxuan, Li Xinyi, Li Wanyi, Zhang Shuo, Zhang Yihao, Feng Niko, Feng Yushuo, Yang Ruoqing

 

 

Eighth Grade "The Brave Knight"

Performers: Li Chongjun, Zhu Zhaohan, Zhou Yichen, Wang Sihan, Bi Weixuan, Yang Zhibo, Huang Nianxun, Huo Yuxin, Deng Junchi, Geng Nuoyi

 

 

Some short plays were humorous and made the audience laugh heartily; others were deeply emotional, allowing the audience to feel a strong emotional atmosphere. The students perfectly portrayed each story through English short plays with fluent English, superb acting, and vivid body language.

 

 

On this vibrant stage, students combined language learning with performing arts through teamwork, showcasing not only their love for English and pursuit of art but also bringing us a spectacular audio-visual feast.

 

This English short play performance was splendid and diverse, each beautiful in its own way, enriching the students' extracurricular life and improving their English speaking skills and teamwork abilities. While the short play has its closing moment, art and life will not end; students will carry the focus and passion of performing, continuing to portray even more wonderful roles in life!
