Passionate Basketball, Exciting Unfolding | Indus International School Holds the Second "Indus Cup" Basketball Championship in Celebration of National Day
To warmly celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China and to wish our great motherland prosperity, on September 18, Indus International School held the second "Indus Cup" basketball tournament for two weeks in preparation for National Day, and the event was a great success.
In the indoor basketball gym, as the whistle blew, the competition officially began. The players were all agile and nimble, energetically coordinating with each other, passing, dribbling, and shooting, their movements flowing seamlessly.
During the match, players from each team competed fiercely and were fully engaged, their blood boiling. Every steal and every shot drew enthusiastic cheers and applause from the audience, conveying trust in each other with every gesture. Each moment of unity and hard work showcased the cultural spirit of the school. The score fluctuated with alternating leads, creating a tense and lively atmosphere.
After intense competition and rivalry, the staff representative team won first place, the sophomore team secured second place, and the national high school team took third place.
This basketball tournament not only showcased the excellent basketball skills and teamwork spirit of Indus teachers and students but also reflected the players' indomitable sportsmanship. Let us channel this enthusiasm from the court into our studies and work, creating new achievements for the development of the school!
